I have enjoyed working with individuals, couples and families for over 40 years and I love to see people refresh their energy as well as clarify and appreciate their own values, strengths and capabilities for forming and sustaining meaningful relationships. The basis of our work is mindful awareness, working together in the present moment with important feelings, beliefs, thoughts, images and experiences. We work at your pace and always collaboratively so you feel safe and able to regulate your own experience. For those who choose this, we can work deeply through body, mind, emotional and transformative awareness. 

Sometimes life calls for deepening reflections and quieting an anxious, depressed or self-critical mind so we can discover insights, and new possibilities beneath our habitual patterns. Long held, sometimes barely conscious, belief systems are explored to discover if they fit your current values. Other times life calls for courageous actions when we are not able to see far ahead on our path, yet feel called to make some new moves. Whether you have spiritual/meditation practices and beliefs or are more at home with the here and now world of evidence, for a life well lived, every life periodically needs reflection, attunement and support. Learn practices to use outside the therapy office that support your well being. Learn skills and tools of self awareness and empowerment. Whatever stage of life you are in...young adult, 30's to 50's or in your elder years, I am here to understand, connect, collaborate and support you towards leading a happier more fulfilling experience of your life.   

As an experienced therapist, my goal is to help you discover your aliveness and compassion in the present and your true potential in life. While you can't change difficult or abusive/traumatic situations of the past, you can learn from your past and better understand and resolve challenges in your life today.  By experiencing alternative experiential approaches, you can unearth the strengths and resources within and around you that you may have forgotten or not known you had. We can also explore and bring to light long-standing behaviors and false belief patterns that may have been holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling life. We all can make sense of the past and learn how to live our lives with increased awareness and purpose.
